Ive heard of kids still dribbling up till about 3 12-4 so I think its reasonably normal. My ds who is now 6 dribbled constantly so much so that I had to change his tops regularly. As a baby he was permanently in a bib.

I asked the GP about it but she didnt take me seriously - I realise its not a serious problem but theres definately an excess saliva issue. A lot depends on your childs innate abilities. But if youre at all concerned about your 2-year-old its a good idea to consult a speech-language pathologist.
Or simply gives up and says never mind a lot. Your child drools when he mispronounces words. This might indicate a physical issue that needs medical attention.
